Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy for photography is as follows:
After the reservation is confirmed, we kindly request a deposit of 30% or settlement of the photography fee within approximately 14 days.
- From reservation date to 45 days before the photography session: 30%
- From 44 days to 30 days before the photography session: 50%
- From 29 days to 2 days before the photography session: 80%
- From the day before the photography session to the day of the photography session: 100%
※ There are no charges for changing the schedule. Please feel free to discuss.
Terms and Conditions
□ If you cancel due to your own reasons, cancellation fees will apply according to our policy.
□ In case of rain on the scheduled photography session, we may ask you to set a backup date.
(Depending on our reservation situation, setting a backup date during your stay may not be possible.)
(If the forecast predicts rain on your reservation date, we may request changing to the backup date or changing the photography location.)
□ If photography cannot be conducted due to rain or other reasons during your stay, we offer free rescheduling within 1 year without a limit on the number of reschedules. If you wish to reschedule, please inform us of the new date in advance.
※ If rescheduling within 1 year is not possible due to reasons on the customer’s side, a cancellation fee of 100% of the invoiced amount will be charged. Please understand this in advance.
※ If rescheduling from a weekday to a weekend or holiday occurs, additional charges for weekends or holidays may apply.
□ Depending on transportation situations or events held by prefectures or municipalities, there may be cases where photography cannot be conducted at the desired location or changes to the photography schedule need to be discussed. Please understand this in advance.
□ Cancellations made after the reservation confirmation date will be subject to cancellation fees. Please check your schedule before making a reservation.
(Changes to plans or reservations after the confirmation date are allowed within 3 days from the confirmation date.)
□ After your reservation, we will send you a confirmation email. If we do not receive a response within a certain period or if we cannot confirm payment, your reservation may be canceled.
□ Refunds for fees received after the reservation is confirmed may not be possible. Please understand this in advance.
□For the cancellation, we will process the refund to the credit card company within 14 days.
(Depending on the credit card company, it may take up to 1 month for the refund to be completed after our processing the refund. Please inquire with your credit card company for details.)
□ The bank transfer fee should be shouldered by the customer.
□Please make cancellations during our business hours. Also, cancellations must be communicated by the person who made a reservation.
Hair and Makeup & Costume
Hair and makeup, as well as costume fittings, will be conducted in our studio’s dressing room.
※ Customers who are concerned about sizes, such as those who normally wear sizes larger than 15 or 5XL or those who are pregnant, please inform us at the time of booking.
Points to Note When Bringing Your Own Costumes
Due to the nature of location photography focused on beach photography, there is a possibility of your dress getting slightly dirty from sand, trees, seawater, etc.
Please note that we cannot take any responsibility for dress stains, tears, or damage, so please understand this in advance. While our staff will assist you, please also take care of your belongings.
Preparation and Photography
Please be aware that other customers may also be present in the studio. To ensure a comfortable experience for all customers, please follow the staff’s instructions.
Our studio has equipment, costumes, and various displays. And our photography sessions often take place on beaches or in natural settings.
While we prioritize safety and provide guidance, we cannot assume responsibility for any illness or injury that may occur. Therefore, please take sufficient precautions.
Damage, Soiling, and Loss
In the event of deliberate or gross negligence resulting in irreparable damage, significant soiling, or loss of items such as equipment, costumes, or photography props belonging to our company or the accommodation facility, we reserve the right to charge the equivalent of the product price or repair costs.
The same applies to equipment and displays within the studio. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Retouching
At NanoStyle, each image captured during the photography session is carefully edited and corrected one by one for brightness, contrast, and color tones before delivery.
※ We generally do not accept re-correction requests, but we may accommodate them in some cases, so please feel free to inquire if desired.
Weather Conditions
In the event of heavy rain that significantly affects the photography session, even if it is within the scheduled time and there is no expectation of improvement of the weather, we may decide to end the session or postpone it if it has not yet started.
As the weather in Okinawa can change rapidly, the final decision regarding changes or cancellations will be made either the day before the session or 2 hours before the start of the session.
During the session, sudden squalls or other weather conditions may temporarily interrupt the session.
For clients who have booked sunset photography as an option, if sunset conditions are unfavorable, we will either increase the number of regular photography and deliver them or use lighting techniques for the photography or applying editing and corrections.
Drone Photography
Drone photography is subject to aviation regulations, and there may be instances where flight is not possible due to restricted areas or adverse weather conditions on the day of the photography session.
For the option of still images, a refund of the option fee will be provided. For the Photo & Movie Plan, normal video photography will be provided as an alternative. Please note that refunds cannot be provided in this case.
Payment Options
Payment should be made by the credit card.
We will send the credit card payment URL to your email. Please note that payment is required in advance.
※ We kindly request your payment within approximately 14 days after booking. If you prefer to pay a deposit (30% of the total fee), please inform us.
In case of using a deposit, the remaining balance (70% of the total fee) should be paid by 14 days before the photography session.
Portrait Rights and Copyright of Photography Data
All data (videos and still images) captured during our services may be used for promotional activities and sample activities on our website, social media, and related platforms.
We kindly ask for your consent to the publication of data captured during our services upon booking.
※ If you do not wish for your data to be published, please inform us at the time of booking, and we will refrain from any publication.
Furthermore, the portrait rights and copyrights of the videos and still images captured belong primarily to our company.
However, we grant you the right to use them. You will receive copies (JPG and MP4 data) of the captured content.
Storage Period for Photography Data
We basically store your data for a period of 90 days after delivery. Please be aware that we may not be able to provide re-delivery after this period.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
① The contents of this page, except where otherwise specified by law, may be changed without prior notice to users.
② Unless otherwise specified by the company, the revised “Terms and Conditions” shall take effect upon being posted on this website.
