About Reservations
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
It is possible to reserve up to 3 days before the photography session, but for weddings, there are pre-wedding photography consultations, so it is smoother if you can make a reservation at least 2 weeks in advance. During busy periods, we receive many reservations and inquiries, so we recommend booking as early as possible.
Is it possible to have meetings in English after the reservation?
Yes, it is possible. However, please understand that while an interpreter will accompany you for the entire day of the photography session, they are not always on duty, so it may take some time for us to respond.
Is it possible to have meetings online, such as on Zoom?
For the day of the photography session, an interpreter will accompany you for the entire day, but they are not always on duty, so we request that communication be conducted on our official LINE or email.
What payment methods are available?
We accept cash (Japanese yen) and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, Discover).
What languages do the interpreters speak?
Our interpreters only speak English.
Can I change the date of the photography session?
Yes, it is possible. However, your preferred date and time may already be booked by other customers, so please notify us as early as possible if you wish to make changes.
Can I change the plan after making a reservation?
Yes, it is possible. Depending on the details of the change, the required time and other factors may vary greatly, so we may not be able to accommodate changes depending on when you notify us. Therefore, if you wish to change plans, please inform us as early as possible.
Is it impossible to have a photography session on your regular holiday, Wednesday?
If you make a reservation in advance, it is possible to have a photography session on our regular holiday, Wednesday.
About Access and Visit to Our Studio
How long does it take to get to the studio from the airport?
It takes about 60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Is there parking available at the studio?
Yes. However, since the number of parking spaces is limited, please let us know in advance if you will be arriving with more than two vehicles.
Is it possible to have the consultation after booking in English?
Yes, it is possible. Although NanoStyle’s staff are all Japanese, we can use translation apps to conduct consultations via email or LINE. On the day of the photography session, a translator will accompany you from start to finish, so you can rest assured.
About the Photography
I don’t have any specific ideas for the photography. Can I leave everything to you?
Yes, that’s possible. Our photographer will advice you for posing, so please rest assured.
Can we select the photograph data ourself?
As a standard, we provide all the data excluding the failed shots based on the specified number of photos.
Are the delivered photos adjusted?
Yes, each photo is carefully edited and corrected. We focus on adjusting brightness, color, and enhancing beauty of the skin to ensure the quality of the photograph before the delivery.
Can I reschedule the photography session?
Yes, you can. However, please inform us as soon as possible as your preferred date and time may already be booked by others.
Are the photography locations predetermined?
Each plan has designated locations, so you can choose your preferred photography location from them. If you wish to have photography at a location not listed, please contact us.
Can I add more photography locations?
It is possible as an option. If you wish to have photography at multiple locations, please consider the premium plan.
When should the photography location be decided?
It is smoother if you decide by 2 weeks before the photography date. Some locations require time for application, and if you request just before the photography date, permission may not be granted.
What should we bring on the day of the photography session?
Please bring only the undergarments to wear beneath the bride and groom’s costumes. Also, please confirm with us in advance, if you need to bring accessories or bouquets on your own.
Do you offer rental props for the photography?
Yes, we have props available such as initial blocks, garlands, and picture frames.
What happens if it rains on the day of the photography session?
We will reschedule as much as possible during your stay. If rescheduling is difficult due to your schedule, you can change the date within one year.
Is it okay to take photos with my personal smartphone during the photography session?
Due to limited time for photography session, you may take a few photos with your smartphone after the whole session is completed.
Is video recording possible?
Yes, we offer a photo and movie plan.
Can friends or family accompany us?
Yes, they can accompany you. However, since there may be other customers in the studio, friends and family are asked to gather at the photography location and can stay only during the photography session. If they want to take photos with their smartphones, they may do so from behind the photographer.
Is there any transportation service?
We do not provide transportation between your accommodation and the salon. We apologize for the inconvenience. On the day of the photography session, you will travel from the salon to the photography location using our car and your car. Returning to the salon after the photography session takes time, so we generally suggest disbanding at the location, so that you can enjoy sightseeing afterward. Please let us know if you have any special requests.
I would like a fresh flower bouquet. Should I bring my own?
Normally, you will need to bring your own bouquet. However, if you prefer, we can place an order with our partner florist. The price varies depending on the type and size of the flowers. We can send you photos and get a quote. Please let us know if you have any requests.
About Costumes
Can I bring my own costume and accessories?
Yes, it is possible. We do not charge any fees for bringing your own costumes, so you can rest assured.
What is the maximum size available for tuxedos?
We have a wide variety of designs available in sizes ranging from S to 6L. If there is no suitable size, we ask that you provide your own.
Can I change costumes during the photography session?
It is possible as an option.
What if the size of the dress I like doesn’t fit?
Some dresses can be altered by one size up or down. Please contact us for details.
Can I rent bouquets, accessories, and other items?
Our plans include rental fees for bouquets, headpieces, and other items.
Is it possible to have photography in both Japanese and Western costume?
Yes, it is possible. Please see the “Japanese-style costume Plan” for details.
When do we do the fitting?
It will be done on the day of the photography session if you arrive early. We also offer rehearsal makeup as an option. Depending on the photography plan and schedule, we may request the fitting the day before.
How long does the fitting take?
About 1 hour.
What kind of bridal underwear is recommended?
Bridal underwear for weddings or strapless underwear is fine. Depending on the dress design, you may need a NuBra. We provide petticoats. Please consult us once you have decided on your dress.
What if I can’t decide on the image of the dress?
We can make suggestions, so please feel free to contact us.
Are there dresses available for pregnant women?
Depending on the week of pregnancy, we have dresses that can fit. We also offer lightweight dresses, so please feel free to contact us.
Is it possible to have photography with both your dresses and brought-in costumes?
photography with two different costume is possible, but if you bring your own costume, an additional fee of 10,000 yen (excluding tax) will be charged due to the time required for changing. There is no charge if you have photography only with your own costume for one pattern.
Is it possible to change the dress on the day?
You can choose about three dresses you are interested in before the photography session, and we will do the fitting on the day. If the dress does not fit even after adjustments, you can change the dress.
Are there any specifications for the groom’s innerwear and socks?
There are no specific regulations for the groom’s innerwear, but we recommend a white tank top that does not show through the shirt. There are no specific regulations for socks either, but we recommend navy or black socks that are not noticeable when visible from the tuxedo. Some customers wear ankle-length socks for the photography session.
What sizes are available for the groom’s tuxedo?
We have sizes ranging from S to 6L.
About Hair and Makeup
Is it possible to use false eyelashes and double eyelid tape?
Yes, it is possible. We provide false eyelashes, but we do not provide double eyelid tape, so if you wish to use it, please bring your own.
Is it possible to cover bruises?
We do not offer body paint, but we will do our best to cover them with concealer and foundation.
Is it possible to do the groom’s hair and makeup?
Yes, it is possible. This service is available as an option.
Can I send photos to show the hair and makeup style I want?
Yes, you can send screenshots or photos of your desired style.
Can I do my own makeup?
Of course, it is possible. If there are any parts you wish to finish yourself, please feel free to let us know.
About Options
If I want to add a sunset cut as an option, how long does the photography session take?
The regular session takes about 60 minutes. With the addition of the sunset option, it will be an extra 30-40 minutes with a break in between.
If I want the optional sunset photography, what time does it start?
It varies depending on the reservation status and the photography location, but preparations start around noon, and the photography session begins around 3 PM.
How many still images are taken with the drone option?
Five cuts are taken.
Do you have options to add more cuts?
Yes, additional cuts can be added for ¥15,000 (excluding tax) per 50 cuts. Although we deliver more than the specified number of images, you can add more as an option if desired.
Can we choose photos with sky blue editing?
Normally, our photographers select the photos, but if you have specific requests, please contact us.
Can I choose the photos for the optional photo book or album?
The photographer selects the photos considering the composition and balance, so you can choose 2-3 photos of your preference. You can also choose the cover.
What is a quick change?
A quick change is when you change your hairstyle during the photography session. This takes place at the location or in the car, without using curling irons or straighteners. It is recommended for those who want to change their look with two different hairstyles, such as from an updo to a half-up or from an updo to a down style.
How much of the body can be in the water for the beach-in photography?
For beach-in photography, only the feet will be in the water. If you want to do a beach-in photography, you can only wear lightweight casual dresses. For regular beach photography with a long and sturdy dress, we recommend the additional option of a second dress for ¥15,000 (excluding tax).
About the Plan
Are there any additional charges for the plan?
Everything, including costumes, accessories, grooming, and data, is included in the plan, so there are no additional charges for the plan. There are about 50 dresses available without any additional upgrade fees. However, if you wish to add an album or other options, additional charges will apply.
We also want to include our children in the photography. Will you provide costumes for them?
Children’s costumes are not included in the plan, so we kindly ask you to prepare them yourselves.
Do you have brochures available?
